This website is to enable consultation on the Forest of Dean Design Guide. It is managed by Place Studio. Place Studio is a planning, design and community engagement consultancy. Place Studio will be processing the data provided on this consultation as the appointed consultant. You can see the full Place Studio privacy policy by clicking here.
The data collected will be email addresses where people consent, survey feedback and photographs taken of built and natural environments in the Forest of Dean and qualitative data on character and design on the district. This data will be used to inform the content and scope of the Forest of Dean Design Guide.
Individuals can contact the Local Plans inbox (localplans@fdean.gov.uk) or write to us (Local Plans, Council Offices, High Street, Coleford) to request to have their details removed.
By submitting a photograph you confirm that you have copyright of the photograph and that the photograph may be used by the Forest of Dean District Council.
Photographs may be published with or without names of contributors.
Submitted photographs will be publicly displayed via online formats such as the project website, online whiteboard Miro, or Flickr, as well as within printed material associated with the Design Guide.
The Forest of Dean District Council will use the submitted photographs as part of the process of consulting on, and preparing the updated Residential Design Guide only.
Any information you share with us will only be used for the purposes of consultation on the Forest of Dean District Design Guide. Place Studio will be collecting email addresses, photographs and comments in relation to the Forest of Dean District Design Guide. Data will be kept until the end of the exercise and once the Guide is adopted the data will be passed to the Forest of Dean District Council who will destroy it. Your information will not be used for any other purpose or passed to any third party.
